Promising

I was given these lovely daffodils this morning and I love the promise of them at this stage - like they are waiting to start singing.

A very busy day and slightly fractious day at school - everyone is tired and the students are pushing their luck in places. Some sadness at the fact that for a few, it is the thought of being at home for the week that makes them play us up. It's hard to keep the necessary emotional distance - I don't actually! Im not alone in that and luckily have some equally dedicated colleagues so we have a plan for surrogate parenting next hols!

Sad news today that my lovely Dad in Law has been taken very poorly. Him Outdoors went to him this morning and we had updates through the night.
