One step at a time

Such a day of mixed emotions - horrible times always bring out the best in people!
My poor Dad in Law was not expected to make it through today and so The Teen and I paused our hectic lives and caught three trains to join the rest of the family at the hospital.

Full advantage was taken of the corridor space by his beautiful grandaughters as we waited to see the medics ! And time for some knee art seen in the extra.

He is fighting on - stubborn as ever - and the care in the ICCU at Wolverhampton Hospital is so very tender and dignified despite the machines and technology. We feel he is in the safest of hands. Bravery needed by all of us for next few days.
