Singing for his supper

This robin was singing beautifully at the top of his voice this morning. All the birds have started singing now and the bluetits have been searching for a partner.
We had a good layer of snow this morning. Mikes  flight was delayed by a few hours and David had to walk from the hotel to work which took about half an hour. If he was a crow it would have taken him just a few minutes but the railway was in the way and a major road!
The snow quickly melted this afternoon . I sat outside in the sun listening to the drips, quite relaxing. I watched the horses having a good run around. The Shetland ponies can really move keeping up with horses twice their size.
Turning colder now and the forecast looks good for tomorrow :)
