Walkies

What a glorious day. We have been so busy. We started by chopping wood, well Mr PB did all the hard work. Then we took Indie for a long walk, actually it was only 3.8 miles but as it is around the other side of the river it feels longer. I took this picture mainly because I liked the lichen on the tree.

Home, lunch then I planted two gooseberry bushes in the front garden along with some rhubarb. We have decided to take out 3 conifers and plant a hedge of currant bushes. It will be a lot of work but we don't like the conifers and it will be good to have all the currants together.

We both popped over to see my mum who gave us our birthday present- money towards our new tandem. Soooo, we are of to yorkshire tomorrow to go walking and then get measured up for a new tandem on Tuesday.
