A little Red on Valentine's Day
This morning was another brutally cold morning the sun was shining but it was only -23C to start, it warmed up to a more comfortable -13C when I got out for my walk in the park. I became quite popular with the birds. There was many nuthatches and chickadees looking for seeds. I took several shots of them I was amazed that I got over 600 shots plus 2 videos in about an hour, many of the pictures ended up in the recycle bin however I posted the videos and pictures on my Flickr Page.
The first video is of this cardinal pictured here trying eat a peanut.
The second video shows just how busy the birds were today.
Later I enjoyed a slow cooked stew that I prepared before going out on my walk.
The one thing I realized once again is that most of my shots taken today were on handed with mittens on.
