Light on Leaves

The Boss shot this to demonstrate how to get an interesting image when there didn’t appear to be one, by looking for light.
This all took place while walking along the Arrow river near Arrowtown, over the hill from Wanaka.
The Walkers had gone there to dodge the wind on our side of the hill and because there was a better ice cream shop too I guess. I had to suffer through all the slurping and “Oh this is wonderful” comments as he worked his way through a mini bucket of the stuff. One of his friends was going to offer me some and he was threatened with assorted violence, so he declined. It appears the The Boss has had one dog in his past that had tasted ice cream and then declared to be a national hazard anywhere within 300 metres of ice cream bearing children, so he was not prepared to risk having another one.
Absolutely NO COMMENT from me except to say it was a Golden Retriever so what did he expect.

The extra today is a pic of  Wonky Walkers crossing one of the better swing bridges in the area.  They weren’t really all that wonky but he thought the term had a grrreat sound to it as the bridge was wonkeying a bit especially when you are on tippy toes with your iPhone in one hand getting the shot.

Pawscript I have forgiven him the ice cream thing after I got a guilty Denta Stick extra for tea instead.


T
