Edinburgh skyline

A couple of contenders for today's blip. This one and one of the Castle bathed in the orange glow of the setting sun.

A lovely day in Edinburgh, covered almost 10 miles walking, to and from the Travelodge at Cameron Toll and around the city.

Visited Scotland Street but alas No 44 does not exist. Climbed Carlton Hill, visited John Lewis for coffee and scone and to watch Italy v England on one of their top of the range TVs. Talked to the guys about TVs generally and about cameras.

Walked then through the Old Town and back to the hotel for a short rest before walking out again for an evening meal at a nearby Italian place.

All in all a great time in this fine city on a cold but fine sunny day. Made a nice change.
