Canillas de Albaida
It was another very stormy night here, making for quite a disturbed night of sleep. The people we are staying with have never experienced winds like this before. After much procrastination we settled for another short walk, starting from below Canillas de Albaida. This shot shows the end of the route, descending an old mule track to the Roman bridge where we'd started, with the village in the distance. There were moments of shelter where it felt vaguely warm, but the winds have continued to gust all day and I've felt chilled most of the time. At least we avoided the hail which struck just after we got back!
