yesterday's Cooper's hawk

This is the juvenile that was hanging out in my pear tree keeping the birds from eating yesterday in the very cold AM. This Am he was hanging out in the neighbor's tree when I was going to work. They seem to go after the doves most of the time though I have seen them after the starlings too. I don't know if he caught anything though. Juveniles usually have to learn how to hunt well and have a lot of misses . He looked a little unsure of what to do actually!
