The creepy selfie at Lake Bled

We left Kranjska Gora this morning and as our flight isn't until this evening we've had time to do some exploring. We decided to drive to Lake Bled which is supposed to be beautiful but as we were driving there the snow started to come down thick and fast. We could barely see the lake but we got out to take some photos and have a little walk. Even though this photo is weird with my big old head in the foreground it makes me laugh and I think it's the only photo of the seven of us on this trip.

From here we drove on to the capital, Ljubljana where there was a bit less snow. We ate lunch and then we caught the funicular up to the castle. There was a great puppet exhibition which was really hands on. The kids loved it as they could go behind the different styles of theatres and have a go at making up their own stories with the puppets.

From here we headed to the airport for our flight home. We've had a great time and can definitely recommend the skiing!
