Lisbon
- Backblip #3 -
Our last day in Lisbon. It was raining, BUT there were also minutes with sun and a lot of rainbows. Lisbon looks quite different with sun :-D
We made a ride on the famous Tram 28. It is an old and yellow one, simillar to the Tram in the extra. It has to be that short, because it goes upon the hill and through very smal streets and tight turns.
We visited the São Jorge Castle. It was raining and sometimes it was sunny and they closed the way besides the pinacles because of the storm.
Yes, we were happy about the weather :-P
Lisbon has a lot of steps. I spotted another mural with the theme: Fado
We had enjoyed an evening in a Fado restaurant.
Fado is traditional one singer who is accompanied from two players, one with a classic guitar and one with a Protuguese guitar. They sing about love, Portugal and the fate in a melancolic way. It was a pitty that we didn't understand a word, but we speak no Portuguese. But nevertheless you could feel the mood.
We left with the last airplane.
I haven't used an airplane since about 35 years and I have to admit that I love it. :-D
On our way back to Frankfurt we had some places without clouds and I couldn't stop to look outside. The best was, that it was clear when we passed Paris. That was amazing! You could see and recognize everything: The Tour d'Eiffel, the Seine, the bridges, the Champes d'Élysée...
I used another extra for it.
So it was a wet phantastic trip. Thank you so much for this experience, kids :-D
