Waiting for the school bus

The weather is getting a tiny bit cooler, as it's shown by school jackets and jumpers. Mind you, it's Autumn, and changeable, so don't be surprised to see the temps back in the low 30s.

The bus stops outside the house which is great. The youngest here is frustrated that the bus drops him of a little too early, so he has to spend up to 15mins sitting in the school office. It is crazy that they are "punishing" kids for arriving a little early in time for school. I understand that the teachers don't want to look after them any earlier, but if I think he is responsible enough to catch a bus and then walk for 10mins ( or scooter for 5 mins) to school, how come he can't play in the playground for a while?

The world wants independent kids, but is afraid to let them play and discover their world.
