Bramham Church

A thoroughly miserable day - it hasn't stopped raining at all.

Finlay started nattering for a walk early afternoon - but as soon as I opened the door he turned tail and came back in.

I had to go out eventually so I dragged him out around 5 pm - almost dark by then. He wasn't really impressed.

I stopped by the church under the cover of the Lych Gate to take some shots of the illuminated building - Finlay was glad of a sit down out of the rain. I used my little mini tripod held against one of the gate supports to get this shot.  The longish exposure has highlighted the little light left in the sky and I think it is nicely balanced with the yellow sodium light on the building.
