Abstract Thursday - Ice Puddle
A lovely sunny morning - if still on the cool side. Out for our walk mid morning - which was really nice.
After the rain yesterday all the drainage ditches and mini-lakes have filled up again - just two days ago they had been emptying nicely.
Some muddy parts of the lanes have big ruts from the tractor tyres and they were filled with water and had frozen over during the night leaving some wonderful patterns and shapes.
This particular shot is a three shot panorama stitched in Photoshop - I liked the sun shining through the hedge and just catching the edges of the ice and the mud, giving a bit of colour.
Stupidly, I left my specs at home so the composition was a bit of guesswork, but thank goodness for auto-focus! I think it worth a look LARGE
Thanks to youoregon1 for continuing to host the AT challenge.
