out of season

A day in the car yesterday, the long anticipated introduction to new nephew and Em's cousin. Much excitement all round!
There's something wonderful about old style seaside resorts in the depths of winter. We walked the seawall, dodging spray from breaking waves, braved the bracing 'breeze', pottered about the narrow streets browsing shop windows filled with vintage finds and fancy foods.
