I found a new function on my car's key fob this morning (by accident).
You can open all the windows!
NOT helpful when they are all covered in slushy snow.
Yep! - I ended up with a car full of slush!

I also found that my heavy soled gardening shoes (with loads of grip) do not have waterproof uppers.
And another pair of shoes have a hole punched through the heel.
Cold, wet feet (and socks) twice before 9am!
By 9.30am I had a new pair of guaranteed waterproof walking shoes!

I also tried spending money on a tele-converter for my camera.
But after taking my money and confirming the sale some rotten eagle eyed character in the warehouse, when they packing it up realised that it had been advertised as only costing postage (£2.95).
I got an e-mail pointing out their mistake and refunding my money.
Drat!

Competition  Appraisal night at the camera club.
Another inconsistent marker who didn't even stay within his own guidelines regarding how he breaks down the allocation of marks.
What a surprise!
Also gives advice on how to take the picture he is meant to be appraising when he apparently has no knowledge of the subject (motorcycle stunts, birds in flight), the location or the circumstances of the shot or lighting (2 strong shadows and the reflection of a streetlamp = natural sunlight???).

Why can these people not just talk about what they see instead of what they would like to see? ...... and as for when they can find nothing wrong (and say so) and praise an image to the roof then take 5 marks off  ----  Grrrrrrrrrr
