On the riverside

For the past 37 years I have been involved in a charity run by women either working in, or associated with, the motor industry. It's called Women On The Move Against Cancer - Womac - and over those years it has raised over £800,000 for the fight against the fearsome 'big C'.

We hold an annual fund-raising party, traditionally around the time of Valentine's Day, and this year's event was tonight. It was at an interesting waterside venue in central London, the Westminster Boating Base. This was the fabulous view on a rather rainy night.
