Kylestrome.

Not had a minute today.
Had a brew to bottle, a job we normally do together. Get bottles up from the shed, and beer buckets. Mix steriliser. Sterilise bucket so I can siphon the brew into a clean bucket. Wash bottles in steriliser, rinse in cold water, and dry. Add priming sugar to each bottle. Siphon from bucket into bottles. Cap bottles. Clean all equipment. Tidy up.

And then did another brew for bottling next week!..

A spot of lunch, and then down the croft to harvest parsnips for the hotel. Found a couple of cabbage too. Add Oca and Yacon, and a tray of salad from the polytunnel.


Give Tanni a run on the beach, a swim in the sea, and into N's park to dry off.

Clean and box up some eggs.

Deliver eggs and veg. Stopped at the top of Kylestrome brae to take this and met one of the admins from the Facebook site "Scotland by the roadside".  Have a pint. This pic may get posted on "SBTRS" as well..

Home to cook some fish for tea.
