Ye Olde Nelson

Unfortunately this building's days are numbered. It's a real shame, but the days when an area like this could sustain lots of local pubs on every corner are long gone, and those that are surviving have to offer that something extra. The Kings Arms and the Eagle are doing well, as is the New Oxford.

Chapel Street is changing. Around St Phillip's church I am told that the new Timekeeper Square development is getting a lot of interest. As new people move in they will want new facilities, some new and some old places which can adapt.
