Snowdrops

An early morning event in Manchester at the Art Gallery. Sandbags topped with snowdrops sit on the parapets at the entrance - a very effective juxtaposition of hope in the shape of new flowers, and associations with war which the Art Gallery has been commemorating on the back of the 100th anniversary of WW1.
