An all nighter. Baby Cillian calmly and gently arrived in water in the early hours. Mum and dad amazed by the difference between home to hospital. Settled quiet bubba and a grinning mumma , no pain ( hypno birthing really does work if you practice) no stitches and as much tea and home made apple cake as the midwives can scoff - which was plenty !
Home at 06.00 for a sleep and then back out to them for afternoon postnatal visit - and I'm ashamed to say 2 more slices of cake . Oink.
Then an eve walk with the dog to watch the sun go down - still smiling with the joy of it all :0)
