Birdie On The Roof

Not sure if this is the same bird as yesterday or not, but this is one angry, aggressive, and territorial, yet pretty bird. I went out to take some "after the rain showers" shots and this bird informed me I was in her yard. I saw one diving at a squirrel yesterday too. Maybe the heat is getting to everyone. She probably has babies around here somewhere, but does diving at something larger than you that was minding its own business over a hundred feet away really make sense from a protective stand point? It only pulled my attention away from the raindrop covered Canna Lily leaves and brought my focus (see what I did there?) to the bird herself. Silly bird.
