Sunflower Flames

I'm not so secretly a pyromaniac and seeing a sunny day with a surprising lack of rain I thought I'd start clearing our new field of the rubbish left by the hedge laying. However, my efforts with a bonfire today didn't go wholly to plan; I think because the wood was so very wet from all the rain! The gusty breeze blew the flames from the straw as I'm clearing out the stable but they never touched the more solid branches in a bonfire that was huge - so much taller than me. Hey ho - another day tomorrow.

This sunflower seemed to be like flames travelling as they did today, sideways but not upwards.
