A run/walk/snowball fight up carnethy

We took the boys for a walk up Carnethy in the sunshine! It was snowy half way up and our walk/tag game became a snowball fight. They boys did really well getting up the hill, our new emergency shelter acted as s good moral booster for sheltering from the wind as we approached the top and needed a snack. On the way down we slid down on our bums until the snow got too thin and it was too sore on the bottom! An excellent walk - the only bad bit was when Little D toppled backwards over a wall - luckily my lightening mummy reflexes meant o caught his leg and then his hand - I was glad A was nearby and could help pull him back over. He wasn't hurt, he could have been badly hurt as there was a 6 foot drop over the wall onto rocks. Thank goodness for special mummy reflexes so the lasting memory of the day was the fun of the snowball fights and sliding on our bums!
