Sewing bee...

Today's blip is of D's creation. He drew his design, chose the felt and thread, cut it out (mostly by himself) and sat on my knee with the foot pedal on a stool and chose various stitches and has sewn his creature. Now he says we just need to find some buttons for his eyes ... So I think we're off to hobbycraft after M&S for some school shorts!

C has never really shown any interest in sewing or crafty things while D is quite go for it (on his own terms mind!). Never ceases to amaze me how different two boys can be yet get on so well :-) While we sew, C has his head in gangsta granny!
