Washed out

Recent rain has washed out most of the snow. And we've seen plenty of that recently.
But here is a little mystery.  I am about to do battle with O2 my telephone provider who have charged me a huge sum of money for photos sent on text which I never sent.

The culprit appears to be a glitsch in the phone's computer programme. If you put a title to your text the computer interprets this as a photo attachment and charges 35p accordingly whereas text messages are free!

Am I the only one who has had this problem? apparently not.
At least one other phone company, Samsung, is alleged to have   had similar problems.
Why are we not warned of this?  I am in the process of writing a stroppy letter to O2 asking for some of my money back.
