Pat-a-dog

Decide to explore Alloa this afternoon since I have taken a studio there.  Within minutes of walking down the main street this guy appears with his two Great Danes, Oscar and Tiger Lily.
 
And it’s not long before children appear wanting to pat the dogs…
 
 
However, it is some years since I have been in Alloa and the number of charity shops there, at least eight, is a surprise.
 
Later I mention this to artists in Marcelle House and they say:
 “Yes, great isn’t it?”
 
For charity shops are gold for those involved in the creative industries, not only do they provide endless source material for studios, everything from cheap furniture and basic materials, but picture frames which can be recycled.
 
   
There’s a silver lining behind every cloud…
