We were up reasonably bright and early in order to go and meet up with the coach that would take us up to Brechin for the Pars' match there. The coach made a small detour via East End Park and acquired a small horde of Fifers, a merry crew. We went to a pub in Brechin for a pint and something to eat before the match, which turned out to be unmemorable in footballing terms but was at least a win.
I wish I could have blipped the antique wooden turnstiles through which we entered the ground - but instead here is the wooden commentary box, in front of Brechin's famous beech hedge. It's not quite on the scale of the Meikleour beech hedge, but I find it rather charming and it certainly helps cut down the wind chill factor somewhat.
