Today's the day ......................... for a bird's eye view

Time to fly home today - which was very hard because the sun was shining in a clear blue sky and the temperature was soaring.

But all the better to see this view from the plane as we took off from Faro Airport.  During our few days in the Algarve, we've come to know this coastline very well - and it was great to see it spread below us like a googlemap. 

The other extra shot is something else that we have come to know - and be intrigued by.  It's a sculpture on the roundabout just at the entrance to the airport.  A motley crew of people looking skywards ......................
