Another Day Closes

I'm sick. Some sort of stomach virus that kept me up almost all night. (I'm even crankier than usual when I don't sleep.)

So, I stayed in bed, reading my book and napping...until 3 p.m. And, while I still don't feel good, I went out to the ocean for the sunset.

A Florida couple are at this beach almost every day. The seagulls surround them. Just before sunset, the woman takes her wagon to her car, filling it up with bread and big bags of dog food. The gulls start trembling and squawking in anticipation. The lady empties the bags, and "the show" begins.
