Pass the jam Jim

This morning's breakfast reminded me of the children's book "Pass the jam, Jim".
Having worked so hard making our own Strawberry Jam last night, all 4 of us enjoyed strawberry jam on toast this morning.
What a way to begin the day... with locally produced, home-made, organic, Guernsey Strawberry jam where the strawberry content (not the sugar or lemon) could be measured in food metres rather than miles.
And with 7 1/2 jars that's a good number of great breakfasts to go!
