A long wait rewarded.

A trip into Oswestry today and a visit to our favourite bookshop resulted in the purchase of Anna Hope's latest (2nd) novel. Long awaited since reading her excellent first novel, Wake.

Comments for The Ballroom include "A moving novel about the aftershock of the 1914-18 conflict...........unlikely many will prove better."

If I wasn't away from home this week with lots of 'Catch-up' work in the evenings, I would start it today. Patience, they say, is a virtue.
