Guinea Pigs

A visit to the farm as today as it's the kid's grandma's birthday.

As ever there was plenty going on, people coming and going, and the kids playing with their brightly coloured toy guinea pigs ( which make various noises of their own ) were eventually bribed to sit down more quietly by putting on a DVD of The Jungle Book. This pretty much had the same affect on the adults! By the end, there were three of us still watching it, none of us under the age of 29! The kids shot off to the kitchen for dinner as soon as their grandma mentioned it was ready!

Sav had called in briefly on his way back from Somerset ( where he'd slept after his night shift ) and been treated to meeting the guinea pigs before heading home to shower and prepare our dinner. I left the farm as they sat down to eat, so hope grandma Jean liked her cakes.

I'll find out next week as I'll be back there for the next birthday ... Mary was the most excited about her grandma's birthday as she knows that hers is next!!!
