Cousin visit

As predicted yesterday, we've had lots of fun today with my Canadian cousins. We had about 7 hours together in total, and packed in as much as we could in that short time. Here's a quick summary:

- Coffee and biscuits
- A dash to the nearest tourist outlet store (on a mission for Cousin don_T back home in Ontario)
- Lunch
- A quick walking tour of the Old Town (via the bookmaker - our common great grandmother will be spinning in her grave) taking in the castle and points of interest related to JK Rowling
- Return home through the New Town
- Tea
- Car ride to Murrayfield ice rink
- Drink
- Meet friends
- Cheer Cousin Grant and his team (Manchester Storm) to a 4-1 win against Edinburgh Capitals

The highlight of the day for me, however, was seeing Cousin Trevor dressed up in Mr hazelh's kilt. I think he looks fabulous :-)
