Blooms and Buds

A much sunnier day than I expected and so mild, I couldn't resist a nice stroll round the lanes where I spotted this beautiful Quince :-) I couldn't stay out too long though as my daughter was due to arrive. We spent a very pleasant afternoon going through some of the boxes of things from her childhood that I unearthed from the loft............ah, the memories........but it all seems like such an extraordinarily long time ago and at the same time, only yesterday :-))
