Old School Fabrications

Neville Rae and Scott Laverie let me photograph these fibre-glass baseball boots they have created (6 in all) for a company in Cheltenham. They will be painted by schoolchildren and then hung from a ceiling as a part of an exhibition.

Neville and Scott run a business called 'Old School Fabrications '. This is an Edinburgh based fabrication company that specialise in making props, sculptures and installations for theatre, exhibition, television and event companies.
Working creatively with numerous materials they create polystyrene carving, mould making, fibre-glass casting and props, bronze and iron casting, jesmonite and plaster casting, soft props, hand props, metal fabrication and sculptures, scenic painting, wooden structures, stone carving, architectural models, metal and wooden furniture pieces. Old School Fabrications take great pride in the diversity of their work.

It was a great pleasure to meet them at their workshop at Crossroads in Peaston and I am sure that any of you out there who wish to use their creative services will not be disappointed at their production.
