Ruby Tuesday

Today's the day .............................. for the black screen of death

I got my laptop almost exactly four years ago to the day - and since then we have enjoyed a very close and fruitful relationship.  I called her Ruby Tuesday  because she is the most gorgeous ruby red colour - and it was a Tuesday when she entered my life.  And she is, most definitely a 'she' - not that I can tell you why - she just is.

But today, she has been entered by an alien being who can only speak in the crudest way - and who only has one colour - black.  I know she's in there somewhere but in order to get to her I need the help of Bob the Computer Wizard - and possibly a new hard drive.

Eek - it's going to be tough - but I'll keep you posted on progress ..........................
