Wealden sky

All day today the sky was lively, alternating between heavy black clouds, billowing cumulus and clear blue sky. I was homeward bound when I pulled into a car park on the edge of the North Downs and looked south across The Weald. The sky was dramatic, and it enhanced the bare winter tree branches. I have tried blipping from this car park on previous occasions but it was in the morning and the light was wrong.
Today was the occasion of one of my regular lunches with retired WI officials. Six of us worked together mostly in the nineties, but I am the only one still involved.
