Bathtub buddies

The delightful Mandarin ducks always remind me of a child's bath toy, always bobbing about and ducking and diving.  Two male Mandarins are back on our stretch of the canal and provided much amusement.  Hopefully their ladies will join them soon.  There was much arguing between the male Mallards today, lots of squabbles, squawking and clashing of beaks - Spring was definitely in the air!! and in an Extra.

It's been a gorgeous day and I've been pampered; a leisurely walk by the canal, a massage, a pedi and some very expressive eyebrows.
