ticket(s) to ride

The band I went to Germany with last October has offered to put on a fund-raising gig in April for the cardio-pulmonary rehab group that I belong to.  The tickets arrived from the printer today.  24 were sold by lunch time.  Which was nice.

Anniemay has offered to act as bouncer on the door.  As an ex-school teacher she knows all about crowd control.  But given the expected age of our audience (much like our own) I guess it’ll be lost glasses and lost teeth that she’ll have to deal with, rather than lost innocence.

We do Ticket to Ride by the way, but as a slow bluesy shuffle.
