I cant help...
....but photograph her when she wears this coat. Even more so when she wears it with this scrummy hood. She's worked hard today - a good day at school, so it sounds and then we walked to her music lesson. She did brilliantly, her teacher pushed her just the right amount. I was particularly pleased with her as something didn't go her way, she got upset but she came round rather than letting it ruin the whole lesson. She did a great bit of aural training, wanting to play more and more of the exercise "games" that her teacher threw at her. She did a good job on the piano and then was very excited to learn to use a key on her clarinet that she'd been wanting to use. I don't know a great deal about clarinet, but her teacher said it's the lowest note her clarinet can play, which amused Katie.
When we got home from music, Granny & Grandad had arrived. They've had a little holiday to London so we were excited to hear about that (and get gifts, bonus!). Katie was excited to show them her medals & photos from the festival. Tea was enjoyed before Katie & Grandy vanished for some play time. I went in to do some tidying in her room and was asked by her to leave!
It was straight to bed after they'd gone for one tired little chicca.
