I realised
at 9pm that the only photo I took today was to message in response to B asking how Katie's face is today after her fall yesterday. I'm certain the speedy giving of arnica is to thank for the fact it's not a lot worse than it is today. It's certainly still bruised, sore and swollen. She's been a bit sad about it today but she had a good long play this morning and worked really hard for a couple of hours on both her piano and clarinet.
We then a lovely afternoon with some friends of ours. The children went off and played, the mummies ate homemade cookies and drank coffee. M had baked a wonderful selection for afternoon tea. The kids loved it of course.
We left in time to get her ready for dance class. We'd been told her class was an hour later today. What none of us realised were that the juniors were having their class joint with the inters. There were a few freaked littlies as we nudged them into class! Katie wasn't concerned about being with the big kids, she's plenty used to it, she just wanted someone to convince her she was definitely in the right place. She was pleased when she came out as their teacher had said the juniors had done so well dancing in the inters that she is going to make their class harder! She's done so well today, given that she's been in pain for most of it. Little superstar.
