Have You Seen My Parrot?

My parrot appears to have flown the coop.
I am toying with wearing this eye patch in order not to put our luncheon visitors off their meal by the sight of my eye in all its glory.


Having seemed to have at the beginning, all the credentials for blepheritis and then latterly conjunctivitis, it has downgraded itself to what appears like the beginning of a ginormous stye- not a good look I'm afraid, especially when the irritation results in my eye being awash with tears. It leaves me looking  through a watery pool and monocular  vision.

However the meal is prepared and ready for action, while  our visitors will provide stimulation and a welcome relief from eye dabbing.
