Not a good sign

Gritters are seldom a good weather sign. Today this truck seems to indicate that the clear sky may be followed by cold icy weather, possibly even snow.

My birthday today so I went for a meal at an Italian restaurant in town, followed by a couple of glasses of wine  in the evening.
