A Tale of Two Breweries

We're in Escondido, California, staying in an Airbnb studio apartment just a few miles from two prestigious breweries -- Stone and The Lost Abbey. Needless to say we'll be paying them a visit -- or two!

These bottles were waiting for us in the refrigerator when we arrived, thoughtfully provided by our hosts. I'm well acquainted with the Arrogant Bastard, but the Carnevale Ale is new to me. Cynthia and I both enjoyed it. It's a very refreshing "Saison-style blonde ale with American hops". I hope I can get some in Bellingham.
