Still going through the boxes...

...and here is a KJV New Testament published 1863.   The Crawford family have used it as the Family Bible, and it has just thrown up a whole lot more to be explored and explained.

Anyway, 31 year-old Jemima Crawford two years later married ploughman and widower William Wilson.   He already had several children, and went on to have six more with Jemima.    The first child, another William Wilson, was my great-grandfather.   

Jemima died in 1896, four years before the birth of my grandmother, who was named Jemima Crawford Wilson.
