This is to prove...
...that I am indeed where I claim to be.
The story goes that the first European settlers were sitting with a group of Aborigines when a bouncy animal came into view. One of the new arrivals said to the Aborigine chief - "what is the name of that animal?"
The answer came "kang a rooooo" - which in the language meant "I'm sorry, old chap, I haven't the slightest idea what you are on about".
And that's how the kangaroo got its name.
