Hebridean horizons
No parents tonight so two hours after work before it got dark. I went back up to the airport - the beacon in this image is the end of the runway - and climbed up a hill nearby to visit an old dun - big collapsed pile of stones.
On the way back, as you can see in the image, the Cuillins of Skye were visible in the distance with a small island south of Eriskay in front of them. Just visible on top of that island is a ruin called the Weaver's Castle that was reckoned to be used as a base by pirates in the 14th to 16th centuries.
