Jeanne's Garden

We've been living next to an empty house since early May when our neighbour of twenty-seven years decided to move to a pleasant and comfortable assisted living apartment just a block or so away.

Her yard which was once meticulously tidy has gone wild with dill and larkspur. The strictly kept hedge of Manchurian elm is almost six feet tall and nearly as wide.

New tenants moved in last week but apparently they don't garden. While the larkspur lasts though I'm enjoying it, as are the bumble bees. Maybe I'll catch one with the camera before the flowers are done.

A few backblips start here.
