Working hard

J has had a great day...haircut, dog walk, lots of reading, and determinedly winning tug of war against the pupster (her bed is not usually in the middle of the kitchen - she has been dragged that far).

I have also sort of had a great day...in that it started with a series of emails bringing a problem with a project I am working on and, after a fairly solid working day, ended around 9pm with all sorted and back on track. A little bit of a full on way to end the week but probably balances out the slow start.

And excitingly we have decided to throw confident caution to the wind* and booked to spend Easter in France with many friends of all ages in the house of a blipper that I believe is still a broken house in many ways but will be considerably less broken than the last time we were there.

*not sure that is quite the right expression... perhaps confidently throwing caution to the wind, or cautiously throwing confidence? ?
